I write to you from Russia. I want to tell about the sights of my capital. Moscow – the ancient city, the capital of the Russian state, the huge megalopolis having great variety of surprising and unique sights. I will start to acquaint you with Moscow from Red Square. Vasily Blazhennogo's temple – the greatest creation of an era of Ivan the Terrible, the Kremlin with the Chiming clock – a symbol of Moscow and Russia.
One of sights of the Kremlin - the Tsar bell. It is an outstanding monument of Russian foundry art of ХVIII century. It is the biggest bell in the world. Its weight about 3976 hundredweights (202 tons), height of 6, 14 meters, diameter of 6, 6 meters. The scepter was presented to Ekaterina II by count Orlov instead of a bunch of flowers. These three relics symbolize colors of the Russian flag - white, dark blue, red.
Dear friend, I invite you to visit our capital personally. «A picture paints a thousand words»
I hope for a meeting! Elena Ermolaeva.
